COLUMBUS – Graeter’s Ice Cream has released a Kentucky Derby-inspired flavor for spring that incorporates two truly Southern flavors: pecans and bourbon.
Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan is meant to be an alternative Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip, a flavor that was discontinued last year and consists of bourbon-glazed pecan pieces in brown butter bourbon ice cream, according to a release from the company.
The new flavor debuted April 15 at all 55 Graeter’s scoop shops and the company’s website.
Graeter’s is a family-owned business making craft ice cream since 1870.
