OBETZ, Ohio – A 16-year-old boy is in the hospital after being hit by a train and doctors may have to amputate his leg, a family member said.

The boy was hopping trains yesterday on the tracks near Obetz and Chandler avenues in Obetz when he was hit, Franklin County sheriff’s deputies said.
The boy’s grandfather told reporters at the scene the child will likely lose his leg.
