Boy with autism missing on East Side

COLUMBUS – Police are asking for help locating a teenager who suffers from autism and walked away from his East Side neighborhood Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: Joshua Rogers was recovered on the west side of Columbus and was in good health. No foul play suspected and Joshua Rogers is now back at home.

Joshua Rogers, 15, has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and does not speak, police said.

He was last seen near his home at 844 E. Spring Street at 8:00 Tuesday morning wearing a gold Scooby Doo hat, black hooded coat, blue pants and black tennis shoes.

Joshua is described as 5’6” tall/110 lbs.

Police say he was on foot and his direction of travel is not known.
