COLUMBUS, Ohio – Raven Ferguson, a senior from Columbus has been dismissed from the Ohio State women’s basketball team for a violation of team rules, head coach Kevin McGuff announced Thursday.

“I’ve enjoyed having the opportunity to coach Raven this past year. And it’s unfortunate that we’re at this point, but due to a violation of team rules she can no longer be a part of our program. I wish her nothing but success as she moves forward as a basketball player and as a person” said McGuff.
The senior guard played in 95 career games for the Buckeyes with 19 starts during the previous three seasons. She averaged 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds last season as a junior while earning honorable mention all-Big Ten honors. A force off the bench, Ferguson recorded 17 double-figure scoring games in her junior year.
Ferguson was a 2011 graduate of Africentric High School.
