COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes hit the practice field Monday for the start of the run-up to the 2014 season opener.
Freshmen began practicing in the morning at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center with veteran players joining them in the afternoon.
There are 18 practice days scheduled in before fall semester classes begin on August 27. The team will practice at its Ackerman Road Field starting Aug. 8 and will put on pads for the first time on August 10.
The season opener is August 30 against Navy.
