Buckeye holiday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 3-ranked Buckeyes are enjoying as much of a holiday as they can with only hours remaining before their annual rivalry game with Michigan.

The 110th meeting between the two teams begins at noon on Saturday and will be televised by ABC.

The players will practice this morning and hold their traditional senior tackle, when outgoing seniors take one last hit at a tackling dummy, symbolizing the end of their careers at Ohio State on Thursday,

Then, players will be able to go home for Thanksgiving if they live close enough. Some players will go to teammates’ homes some will go to the homes of their coaches’ homes, but everybody will be back on campus on Friday morning.

The Buckeyes (11-0, 7-0) board the bus to Ann Arbor Friday afternoon.
