COLUMBUS – The Ohio State football schedules are now complete for the next five season with the additions of three non-conference games in 2022 and 2023.
The Buckeyes will host Arkansas State on Sept. 10, 2022, in the first-ever meeting between the programs.

Ohio State will open at home against Notre Dame on Sept. 3, 2022 before playing the Red Wolves, out of the Sun Belt Conference, before closing out their nonconference slate at home against Toledo on Sept. 17.
Home games against San Jose State and Western Kentucky round out the 2023 schedule.
The game against the Spartans on Sept. 9 will be Ohio State’s home opener after a road game at Indiana. The only other time San Jose State and Ohio State played each other was a 50-7 Buckeye win in 2002 at Ohio Stadium.
One week after the San Jose State game, the Buckeyes will host the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, of Conference-USA, in the first meeting between the two schools.
The four-year run of games from 2020 through 2023 includes home-and-home series with Oregon in 2020-21 and Notre Dame in 2022 and 2023.
