Buckeyes: 4 prime time games

COLUMBUS – The Buckeyes will play in prime-time matchups on four consecutive Saturdays this fall, according to the Department of Athletics.

Three games will be aired at 8:00 p.m. on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2 with a fourth kicking off at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2, according to listings released by ESPN Monday.

Ohio State will play at Wisconsin Oct. 15 at Wisconsin at 8:00 p.m./ABC, ESPN or ESPN2; Oct.22 at Penn State (8:00 p.m./ABC, ESPN or ESPN2); Oct. 29 vs. Northwestern (5:00 p.m./ESPN or ESPN2) and Nov. 5 vs. Nebraska (8:00 p.m./ABC, ESPN or ESPN2).

The game at Wisconsin will mark the Buckeyes’ first game in Camp Randall Stadium since the 2012 season and the first meeting between the teams since OSU tromped the Badgers 59-0 in the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game on their way to a national championship.

Penn State has already announced that its Oct. 22 game would be its annual “white out” contest.

Ohio State and Northwestern are meeting for the first time in three years.

The Buckeyes and Cornhuskers resume a series that has had only four previous games. Ohio State won, 63-38, in a night game at Ohio Stadium in 2012, the last time the two teams played.

Ohio State is 46-23 all-time in night games, those starting after 5:00 p.m. local time.
