Harrison wins weekly Big Ten honors

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was named Big Ten co-Offensive Player of the Week for his 184-yard, three-touchdown performance in Saturday’s 45-12 win over Arkansas State.

Harrison caught a career-high seven passes and became just the second wide receiver in OSU history to have multiple three-touchdown games. The other is Joey Galloway, who did it twice: against Michigan State in 1993 and Purdue in 1994

Harrison’s other three-TD performance was in last year’s Rose Bowl vs. Utah.

The Philadelphia native has 12 catches for 240 yards and three touchdowns in the first two games of the season.
