COLUMBUS – Buckeye head football coach Urban Meyer begins sorting out his quarterback situation and the adjustment of Braxton Miller, among other issues this week, as the defending national champions start their fall workouts for the 2015 season.

Practice began Monday morning for incoming freshmen and in the afternoon for returning letter winners, 105 players in all, who have reported to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center for fall camp drills.
The players will practice without pads until Friday.
The biggest question remains which of Ohio State’s two quarterbacks will start the season: J.T. Barrett, holder of multiple offensive records from the 2014 season, when he filled in for the injured Miller; or, Cardale Jones, who took over the reins when Barrett was injured in the regular-season finale and guided the Buckeyes to victories over Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game, Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and Oregon in the College Football Playoff championship game.
Ranked No. 1 in the coaches’ preseason poll, the Buckeyes open their season on the road at Virginia Tech on Monday, Sept. 7 (8:00 p.m./ESPN).
The Big Ten Network will debut “Scarlet and Gray Days: Inside Ohio State’s Training Camp” on Aug. 19. The behind-the-scenes documentary series follows the Buckeyes over a portion of pre-season practice.
