Buckeyes help serve free dinners

COLUMBUS – Some Buckeye football stars are taking time out between the biggest games of their season to help out those in need at the Thanksgiving holiday.

Quarterback CJ Stroud, running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Denzel Burke are taking p part the TownHall restaurant’s “Feed The Need” event Monday.

The country’s first 100% non-GMO restaurant, located in the Short North, TownHall plans to serve 4,000 free turkey dinners on Monday.

The business is also launching an outerwear upcycling program, collecting gently used hats, scarves, sweaters, mittens, and jackets that will be professionally cleaned by DO Summers and distributed.
