(3) OHIO STATE (3-0) vs. Wisconsin (2-1); Ohio Stadium, Columbus OH; Sept. 24 (7:44 p.m. kickoff/ABC)
The top 10 in the AP Top 25 remained virtually unchanged: No. 1 Georgia was followed by Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson in the top five.
The one change in the top 10 was No. 8 Kentucky flip-flopping with No. 9 Oklahoma State. Sixth-ranked Oklahoma, No. 7 Southern California and No. 10 Arkansas all held their spots.
There are still more than few teams ranked in The Associated Press college football poll ranked that have a lot to prove and Michigan is the prime example.
The Wolverines have scored at least 50 in each of their first three games, but those opponents are a combined 0-9 against other FBS teams so where the Wolverines are ranked is based more on faith than accomplishments.
The other ranked Big Ten team, Penn State, jumped eight spots to No. 14 after routing Auburn on the road.
Michigan State fell from No. 11 out of the poll entirely following a loss to previously unranked Washington, which vaulted to No. 18.
