The players were off Friday and Saturday, following their 42-35 victory over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl Jan. 1 but scheduled to resume practice on Sunday, athletics department spokesman Jerry Emig said.
Emig says the team is set to leave for Dallas after practice on Friday for the Monday night game. The 4th-seeded Buckeyes (13-1) face No. 2 Oregon (13-1) at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time Monday on ESPN at AT&T Stadium.
Each team receives an allotment of 20,000 tickets, but Emig says Ohio State is not anticipating a public sale.
Ticket prices start at $470 including service charges.
If general public tickets become available after priority requests from season ticket holders, faculty, staff and students are fulfilled, a public sale will be held beginning with those individuals on a waiting list.
