COLUMBUS –The Buckeyes in the eye of the college football storm, holding onto their No. 2 spot in the latest College Football Playoff rankings while the rest of the Top 4 changed after a dramatic weekend.

Ohio State’s Big Ten rival, Michigan, moved up from five to three and TCU jumped three spots to No. 4, putting the nation’s four unbeaten teams at the top of the rankings.

Georgia took over at No. 1 after dismantling Tennessee, which dropped to No. 5.

Clemson, which was No. 4 in the selection committee’s first rankings last week, also lost, clearing the way for changes in the top four.

Analysts asking whether an 11-1 team that doesn’t win its division, like the loser of the Ohio State-Michigan matchup on Nov. 26, or the Volunteers would get the nod into the final playoff field over Clemson at 12-1 with an ACC title.
