Bulls 11, Clippers 0

COLUMBUS – Durham starter Brent Honeywell spun six scoreless innings while three home runs powered the Bulls past the Clippers 11-0 on Wednesday night at Huntington Park.

Honeywell (W, 6-5) fanned seven against no walks to earn his third consecutive victory. Four Bulls pitchers combined to give up only five hits with13 strikeouts.

Richie Schaffer went 2-for-4 at the plate but Columbus stranded five baserunners.

Michael Peoples (1-4) gave up four of the Bulls’ runs in 3 1/3 innings and Joe Colon gave up five more, including two home runs, in less than two innings on the mound.

The Bulls and Clippers play for the final time in 2017 on Thursday night.
