Bulls 7, Clippers 5

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Durham rallied for a pair in the ninth inning Thursday night to beat the Clippers 7-5, spoiling the opener of an 11-game home stand at Huntington Park.

Columbus has lost seven of its last 10 games.

Jake Thompson (2-0) got the win as he pitched the last two outs of the eighth and became the winner when the Bulls scored in the ninth. C.C. Lee (0-1) took the loss as he gave up a Clippers’ one-run lead in the eighth and was responsible for the runs in the ninth.

Game two will be a 7:15 start Friday night at Huntington Park.
