ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Charges are pending against the alleged gunman in a deadly shooting inside a Zanesville fast-food restaurant.
Muskingum County sheriff’s deputies say Charles Hooper, 61, was gunned down yesterday inside a crowded Burger King on Maysville Avenue, when he tried to break up a fight between the suspect and his girlfriend.
The suspect fled, but witness’ descriptions of his vehicle led to an arrest a few hours later.
