COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus police say they have arrested a man who raped a woman while she waited for a bus with her young child.
Ronald Ayers, 35, was arrested yesterday. He was charged with one count of rape and two counts of kidnapping, police spokesman Sgt. Rich Weiner said.
Ayers is accused of assaulting the 27-year-old victim at gunpoint this week near a COTA bus stop, while the woman was holding her 18-month-old child.
