COLUMBUS – Police are looking for a 21-year-old East Linden man they say fired shots at a home on the Hilltop Monday night, killing the man inside.
Columbus police have issued an arrest warrant for Jalen Rashaad Hall, charged with murder in the shooting death of Charles Mahon inside Mahon’s Springmont Avenue home, Homicide Unit Sgt. Chris Holzhauser said.
UPDATE: Police say Hall (pictured, left) and Curtis (right) surrendered early last week. Jalen Hall remains in custody. Curtis has been released on bond.

Holzhauser says the initial investigation indicated the incident started just before 8:20, when an argument escalated into violence.
Shortly after Hall arrived at the scene, he allegedly fired multiple shots at people on the porch of Mahon’s house, hitting the 61-year-old man inside.
Anyone with information about Hall’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 614-645-TIPS.
