COLUMBUS – With key Midwestern primaries looking, some of the presidential candidates are paying closer attention to states in the former Rust Belt, including Ohio.

Gov. John Kasich’s campaign says the Republican presidential candidate will attend three events in Michigan Monday afternoon and evening. Kasich is scheduled to speak at town halls in Allendale and Utica and a Michigan State University event in East Lansing.
Michigan’s presidential primary is March 8 and Ohio’s is a week later on March 15.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign says Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to speak in support of her mother in Cleveland with the Ohio primary still a month away.
The campaign for the Democratic presidential candidate says Chelsea Clinton will speak at a get-out-the-vote organizing event Monday afternoon at a community center.
