CLEVELAND (AP) — Rodney Hood scored a season-high 26 points, Cedi Osman added 20 and the Cavaliers got their first win after an 0-6 start, beating the Atlanta Hawks 136-114.
The Cavs won their first game under ‘acting’ coach Larry Drew, who took over when Tyronn Lue was fired.
Cleveland had seven players score in double figures.
Rookie Trae Young scored 24 to lead the Hawks, who beat the Cavs by 22 on Oct. 21.
Kevin Love says he will miss ‘weeks’ with a toe injury. The Cavaliers All-Star forward has been bothered by the injury for weeks.
He’s undergone tests, and doctors are still trying to decide the best course of treatment. He did not rule out surgery.
