COLUMBUS, Ohio – Blue Jackets fans can get their hockey on this week with a fan-centered event marking the opening of preseason training camp.
The team’s FanFest event is scheduled for 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Nationwide Arena on Friday. Fans can meet players and participate in other activities. (Admission is free).
Tickets to the four Blue Jackets preseason home games at Nationwide Arena are on sale now at the Big Lots Box Office at Nationwide Arena, OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. Fans may also purchase tickets by phone at (800) 745‐3000 or online.
Full and partial season tickets are on sale now and single game tickets for home games, including the Oct. 11 home opener against the New York Rangers, will go on sale on Sept. 19 at noon. Ohio residents will have the first opportunity to purchase single game tickets through Monday, Sept. 22, at 10:00 a.m.
In addition to autograph sessions with players, activities during FanFest include:
Interactive game stations (video games, air hockey, bubble hockey) with players
Skills stations including slap shot and goalie shot-blocking activities
Photo booth kiosks
NHL All-Star Game display with chance to win an NHL All-Star merchandise prize pack
Tours of the Blue Jackets locker room
Open skating at the OhioHealth Ice Haus

Photo opportunities alongside the Blue Jackets Cannon
Kids activities including face painters, bounce house, balloon artists
The team will open training camp on Sept. 19 at the OhioHealth Ice Haus. Further information regarding training camp and open practice sessions will be announced soon.
