LANCASTER (AP) – Charges have been dropped against a second-grade teacher from Pickerington who had been accused of running over her husband while their two daughters were inside the car.
The Columbus Dispatch reports the Fairfield County prosecutor’s office asked that charges against Angela Luke be dropped. Luke’s husband, Daniel, was killed Sunday night during a domestic dispute that carried over into the driveway of the family’s home in Canal Winchester.
Angela Luke, 40, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges including aggravated vehicular homicide.
A report says Daniel Luke, 42, was fatally injured Angela Luke was in the car with their 8- and 12-year-old daughters and says her husband was holding onto the car as she tried to drive away.
A message left seeking comment from her attorney wasn’t returned.
