CLEVELAND (AP) — The Browns ended a tough week with a rough loss.
Cleveland had three defensive starters injured in a 37-21 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdowns passes against a Cleveland secondary that lost rookie Denzel Ward and E.J. Gaines to injuries in the first half.
The Browns, who fired Hue Jackson earlier this week, have lost four straight.
Mahomes connected twice with Travis Kelce and once with Kareem Hunt, who added two scoring runs.
Mahomes has 29 TDs in 10 career games, the best start by an NFL quarterback since 1950.
