COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers dropped 4-1 decision to the Syracuse Chiefs Sunday afternoon, ending a six-game winning streak.
Davies (1-1) took the loss for Columbus, allowing four runs — though only one of them was earned — on five hits in six innings. Blake Treinen (1-0) got the win for the Chiefs.
The big inning was the Syracuse half of the sixth when three unearned runs scored.
The final game of the series and the Clippers’ eight-game home stand is a 10:35 a.m. start Monday morning.
