COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers gave up six runs in the second inning Sunday and never caught up, falling to Syracuse 7-3.
Nick Maronde (0-4) was tagged for all seven of the Chiefs’ runs and took the loss.
The win completed a sweep of the three-game series for Syracuse and was the Clippers’ fifth straight loss.
They return home for a six-game home stand, starting Tuesday night against Charlotte.
