Child dies, raising accident toll to four

COLUMBUS – An eight-year-old Columbus girl hurt in a Christmas Eve crash that killed her parents and another driver near Grove City has died.

Mylee Music died early Sunday at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Mylee was riding in the backseat of her parents’ Honda Civic at approximately 3:40 p.m. Saturday when the car struck an SUV that had crossed the median of I-270 near U.S. 62.

Her parents, James Music, 39, and his wife, Suni, 41, were pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center

The SUV driver, Loren Colombini, 38, of Columbus, died at the scene.

Colombini’s Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on I-270 when he lost control of the vehicle, which cross the grass median into the westbound lanes where it was hit on the passenger side doors by the Music’s car, accident investigators said.

The sheriff’s office says it thinks alcohol or drugs may have played a part in the crash but there won’t be any charges because the driver at fault was killed.
