COLUMBUS – A 1-year-old boy who was the subject of a statewide Amber Alert after being abducted from a Southeast Side home Tuesday evening was recovered safely later that night.
Soull Minnehan appeared unharmed and is being evaluated, according to a tweet posted around midnight by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect, William Henry Hannah, 50 (right), was taken into custody without incident.
The abduction took place just after 5:45 p.m. at a home in the 3000 block of Hatfield Court in Madison Township, according to the alert information.
Hannah assaulted the child’s mother and a gun went off during a domestic disturbance, according to a report by WBNS 10-TV.
