DES MOINES, Iowa – David Fry’s grand slam in the 10th inning gave the Clippers a 10-6 win over the Cubs Saturday night at Principal Park, continued their offensive assault on Iowa.
Carlos Sepulveda tied the score with a two-run single to left field in the eighth before Fry drove in the go-ahead runs with his homer off Erich Uelman (3-3).
Mitch Tolman drove in three runs for Columbus.
Jake Jewell (2-2) got the win for Columbus.
