Clippers 10, Indians 9

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers jumped on the Indians with an eight-run second inning, but had to add two more and then hang on to win a tense 10-9 decision in Indianapolis Sunday.

Two runs in the fourth gave the Clippers a 10-2 lead, but had been whittled to 10-6 heading into the bottom of the ninth, when the Indians plated three runs.

Nick Hagadone got Gregory Polanco on a called third strike with the bases loaded to end the suspense.
