WORCESTER, Mass. – Jhonkensy Noel’s three-run home run put the Clippers in front for good as Columbus opened a series at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass., with a 10-3 win over the Red Sox.
Zack Collins and Micah Pries also hit home runs as the Clippers plated eight runs in the final two innings.
Michael Kelly (1-0) picked up the win and Caleb Barager struck out four hitters while pitching two innings of shutout ball to notch his first save of the season.
