Clippers 12, Bats 8

COLUMBUS – The Clippers rallied for six runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to beat Louisville 12-8 at Huntington Park on Sunday afternoon in front of a crowd of 7,402.

The Bats raced out to a 5-0 lead but the Clippers pounded out six runs in the bottom of the 8th, capped off by Ronny Rodriguez’s triple with the bases loaded and a throwing error that sent him home from third.

Columbus will hit the road for seven games beginning Monday night at Victory Field in Indianapolis as the Clippers and Indians start a four game series with the first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
