COLUMBUS – Oscar Gonzalez hit a pair of two-run home runs for the Clippers as they opened their final series if the regular season with a 13-3 drubbing of the Louisville Bats Wednesday night.
The first came in the Clippers’ four-run fifth inning. Gonzalez also launched a two-run shot into the right field seats at Huntington Park in the sixth.
Daniel Johnson also hit a two-run homer and Gabriel Arias added a solo shot in front of a crowd of 5,570 hometown fans.
