Clippers 14, IronPigs 8

COLUMBUS – Having lost both games of a doubleheader Saturday, the Clippers woke up their bats early to beat Lehigh Valley, 14-8, on Sunday, avoiding a three-game sweep at the hands of the IronPigs.

Adam Rosales had a huge day at the plate for Columbus, going 4-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs at Coca-Cola Park.

Stephen Fife (5-6) got the benefit of the offensive output by Columbus and took the win while Lehigh Valley starter Anyel De Los Santos (9-4) took the loss.

The Clippers return home to host the Indianapolis Indians Monday at Huntington Park at 7:05 p.m. Columbus trails first-place Indianapolis by 2 ½ games in the International League West.
