COLUMBUS – The Clippers notched their second shutout win in a row over the Louisville Bats, 2-0, on Wednesday.
Audy Ciriaco scored the game’s first run on a ground ball by Ryan Rohlinger in the second inning and Jesus Aguilar added another in the third on a fielding error by Bats second baseman Juan Perez.
Toru Murata (12-4) pitched the first six innings to get the win.
The two teams wind up their three-game series Thursday night before Columbus returns to Huntington Park for a six-game home stand.
