COLUMBUS, Ohio – Michael Roth’s eight scoreless innings guided the Clippers to a 2-0 win over the Charlotte Knights at Huntington Park Wednesday night, bringing Columbus back to .500 at 13-13 on the season.
Roth (2-1) gave up four hits, striking out five hitters, and Austin Adams pitched the ninth to record his third save of the season.
Adam Moore accounted for both Clippers runs, with a leadoff home run in the third inning and scoring on a sacrifice in the eighth.
The teams conclude their three-game series Thursday morning.
