Clippers 3, Bats 2 (11)

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A “walk-off hit batsman” in the 11th inning sealed the deal as the Clippers took two of three games from the Louisville Bats.

The bases-loaded HBP ended a back-and-forth affair Wednesday night at Huntington Park.

With the score tied at 2, James Ramsey led off the 11th with a double, Louisville’s Sam LeCure walked the bases load, then plunked Lonnie Chisenhall, bringing Ramsey home with the winning run.

Adam Moore scored the tying run from second base for Columbus on Tyler Naquin’s single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Shawn Armstrong (1-2) got the win after one-hitting the Bats in the 10th and 11th.

Syracuse come to Huntington Park for a four-game series beginning Thursday night.
