Clippers 4, Indians 2

COLUMBUS – The Clippers won the rubber match of a three-game series against the Indianapolis Indians behind big hitting from the bottom of their order.

Mike Papi drove in two runs from the number seven spot, including a solo home run to break a 2-all tie in the bottom of the 4th inning, and Nellie Rodriguez drove in another run with a long, opposite-field double from the eighth spot to help the Clippers to a 4-2 win.

Starter Alexi Ogando (2-0) pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits for the win.

Alex McRae (0-3) took the loss for the Indians.

The Clippers will head to Louisville Monday to take on the Bats at Louisville Slugger Field at 6:30 p.m.
