Clippers 4, Knights 3 (12)

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After tying the score in the bottom of the ninth, it took three more innings for the Clippers to prevail over the Charlotte Knights, 4-3, at Huntington Park Monday, ending a six-game losing streak.

After Luke Carlin led off the bottom of 12th inning with a single and got to second on a Jose Ramirez bunt single, Elliot Johnson sent him home with the winning run on a walk-off RBI single back up the middle past a diving Carlos Sanchez at second base

Tim Fedroff had scored the tying run scored on an RBI double by Tyler Holt in the ninth.

Game two of the four-gamer series is Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. at Huntington Park.
