COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers rebounded on the road and won three games of a four-game series in Toledo, capped off by Sunday’s gutsy 12-inning win.
Kyle Crockett (2-1) pitched two innings of 1-hit ball and Jeff Manship retired the Muds Hens in order in the bottom of the 12th inning to preserve the 4-3 win.
Trailing 3-1 after 8 innings, Columbus got an RBO from Giovanny Urshela, who scored the tying run on a single to left field by Ryan Rohlinger. Jesus Aguilar singled home Francisco Lindor with the winning run with two outs in the 12th.
The Clippers head to Louisville for a three-game series beginning Monday night.
