Clippers 4, Mud Hens 3

COLUMBUS – Adam Moore’s walkoff single gave the Clippers a 4-3 win over Toledo Thursday at Huntington Park, their fourth straight win over the Mud Hens after taking three games in Toledo.

The Mud Hens rallied from a 3-0 deficit to tie the game on a two-run single by Steven Moya in the top of the 8th inning but Moore’s two-out single to center field brought Anthony Gallas home with the winning run.

Carlos Marmol (3-1) got the win in relief after taking over in the 8th inning and stranding two Toledo baserunners in the top of the 9th.

Columbus looks to make it a clean sweep of the five-game home-and-home series as they play the second of two games at Huntington Park on Friday night.
