COLUMBUS – The Clippers scored all four of their runs in the first three inning on the way to a 4-0 win and three-game sweep of the Norfolk Tides at Huntington Park Thursday.
Asher Wojciechowski (2-0) kept the Tides off the board through five innings and three relievers one-hit Norfolk the rest of the way to get the shutout.
Eric Haase’s two-run home run was the highlight of the Clippers’ three-run third inning.
Yefry Ramirez (1-1) gave up all four runs to get the loss.
Columbus opens a three-game weekend series against Durham Friday night.
