Clippers 5, Bulls 1

COLUMBUS – The Clippers scored all five of their runs in the 4th and 5th innings in a 5-1 win over Durham Tuesday, evening up the teams’ three-game series at one win apiece.

The Bulls jumped out to an early lead, scoring in the 1st inning and it held up until the 4th when Jesus Aguilar’s two-run home run put Columbus up 2-1.

The Clippers extended their lead the very next inning with Erik Gonzalez’s RBI single, a run scored by Yhoxian Medina on a wild pitch and Aguilar’s RBI double.

Toru Murata (8-4) picked up the victory after allowing just one run across six innings.

The rubber match of the three-game set is scheduled for Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
