Clippers 5, Mud Hens 4 (12)

COLUMBUS – For the second game in a row, the Clippers kept fans in their seats until the end, winning in walkoff fashion.

Trenton Brooks sent the faithful home happy Sunday with an RBI single in the bottom of the 12th inning that gave Columbus a 5-4 win over the Toledo Mud Hens at Huntington Park.

Tyler Freeman added two RBI for the Clippers.

Jake Jewell (1-2) pitched the final two innings to get the win.

Columbus won five of six games over their cross-state rivals.
