Clippers 5, Red Wings 3

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Clippers rallied for three runs in the 7th inning Tuesday night on the way to beating the Rochester Red Wings 5-3 at Huntington Park.

With Josh Tomlin called up by the Indians, it was Kyle Davies (1-0) up from AA Akron who took the mound, giving up two runs on three hits during seven innings of work to get the win.

Matt Guerrier (0-1) took the loss, pitching an inning in relief and allowing the three runs across in the 7th.

After taking the first two games of the series, the Clippers host Rochester again Wednesday night at 6:35 p.m.
