ST. PAUL, Minn. – Ryan Lavarnway and Connor Marabell hit home runs as the Clippers rallied for a 5-3 win over the Saints at CHS Field in St. Paul Friday night.
Marabell’s solo shot followed Lavarnway’s two-run homer as the Clippers erased a 3-0 deficit in the fifth inning.
Owen Miller’s sacrifice fly in the eighth brought Yu Chang home with the go-ahead run.
Kevin Herget (4-3) struck out seven hitters over four shutout innings to get the win in relief.
Ian Gibaut (0-3) took the loss for the Saints.
