COLUMBUS – The Clippers continued to show off their offensive muscle in a 6-1 win in Toledo Thursday night, completing a three-game sweep of the Mud Hens.
Columbus won four of the six games in the home-and-home series.
Michael Roth (7-4) gave up five hits and walked only one batter on his way to picking up a complete-game win.
Zach Walters led the offensive outburst, going 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. James Ramsey added two hits, including a homer. Adam Moore and Tyler Naquin also had two hits apiece and each scored a run.
The Clippers return home Friday for a three-game series with Indianapolis.
