COLUMBUS – Alex Call and Andres Gimenez hit home runs as the Clippers built a 6-1 lead on the way to a 6-4 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers Wednesday at Huntington Park.
Brad Peacock and Kevin Herget (6-3) combined to strike out nine hitters while giving up two runs in seven innings of work on the mound.
After two more relievers allowed two more runs, Jordan Stephens retired the final two batters to earn his fifth save of the season.
