COLUMBUS – Will Brennan hit a solo home run and drove in two more runs, including one in an RBI double during the Clippers’ four-run second inning, as Columbus held on to beat the Iowa Cubs 7-5 at Huntington Park Thursday night.
Hunter Harris (2-2) struck out seven hitters while giving up two runs on four hits over 5 2/3 innings.
Oscar Mercado scored twice and added two RBI for the Clippers.
