TOLEDO – Starter Kirk McCarty got plenty of help in a 7-1 Clippers win over the Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field Friday.
The left-hander (6-1) gave up a run on four hits while striking out six hitters in seven innings on the mound.
Owen Miller contributed a three-run homer during a 3-for-4 night at the plate.
